PURCHASES FOR DOMINION.

SYDNEY, April 7,

At the yearlings sale at Randwick today there was a fair attendance, but bidding was slow, and prices generally were low. Even Moabite stock failed to arouse enthusiasm. A colt by Australian Sun made 330 guineas, and an' other 200 guineas.

Six lots by Brazen sold for 600 guineas. J. T, Jamieson bought two ,colts, one by Brazen at 180 guineas, and one by Magpie at 90 guineas. J.; W. Lowe (Wellington) paid 60 guineas for a Shiljingjee colt.

A Rossendale colt made 700 guineas, and Magpie colts went to 270 guineas, The Sydney Cup winner The Dimmer is to be offered for sale by auction at the end of this weelc.
