ANOTHER WIN FOR DONOVAN,
JACK JONES OUTPOINTED,

NEW PLYMOUTH, Monday.
In a 'boxing contest at Hawera this evening Tommy Donovan (Waitara), New Zealand featherweight and lightweight champion, defeated Jack Jones (Hawera), ex-champion of Wales, on points. Donovan was too fast and rugged for Jones and wore him down, but Jones boxed well.
