HIKURANGI SWAMP FIRE.

The report of a fire raging l , oil the Whangarei Land Company's property was greatly exaggerated. Only a small portion was touched by lire. The company owns 2300 acres of the richest part of the Hikurangi swamp, from which many drafts of fat cattle have been shipped.
