1- The Auckland Transport Board -met ;this morning, the' chairman, Mr. J. A. jC. Allum, presiding. Mount Albert Tramway.

New North Eoad. and Ennismore Eoad. , The manager (Mr. A. E. Ford) reported that he was of opinion that the ease- • ments would facilitate the movement -of vehicular traffic. r plight. It was pointed out that at pre- . «ent there was an eight-minute service to Balmoral and a 16-minute service to ' Mount Albert. A request was made for
a. 10-minutes service to Mount Albert jE°ad in lieu of the one at present in {operation.
r f The manager reported that a 10- - minute service was in operation throughout the afternoon and up. to 7.33 p.m. .After that I .time there was a 16-minute ; pervice to between Balmoral, and the : .terminus. A comprehensive check of the loading conducted between March
23 and. 27 • showed, that there were 18 3tound. trips run daily, between 7.33 p.m. and the last car on the Balmoral run, exclusive of ;amu6emgnt extras. These
