(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The strike of general labourers "vho were last week employed on the earthworks of the approaches to the carillon site at Mount Cook ended this afternoon. The terms of the settlement provide that the married men are to resume work on the job, with the men at present employed there, and are to be paid the award rate for five and a half days a week.
