"BOUND TO WIN."
"SWEEP" SYNDICATE'S PLAN
(Received 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, March 25. A unique scheme of a syndicate of London business men is revealed in connection with the Irish Free State sweepstake and reads like the best betting system devised. Briefly the syndicate plans to purchase a half share in the ticket held on each horse running, thereby assuring a half share in the three main prizes totalling £600,000. A half share in each of the remaining runners will total over £40,000. They will thus receive £340,000 from which will be deducted the amounts paid to various holders. The syndicate estimates a profit of £125,000. In the event of being unable to purchaser share of all the tickets they will back the horses concerned and win proportionate amounts. If they have to back a larger number it is expected this may reduce the profit to £00,000, but in any event they are bound to win. The syndicate has already cabled to every holder and 40 per cent have accepted. ,
