CONCERT PARTIES.

_Mr. Neville Carlsen's concert party visited the Evelyn Firth Home for returned soldiers last night. A varied programme of instrumental, vocal and dancing acts was provided by the following: Misses Jesmond Hiscott, Mavis Ward; Mavis Hearldon, D. Jensen, Freda Jensen, Mrs. Loft, Messrs. Jas. O'Kane and his pupils, Messrs. Judson, Maddfen, George Davies, Jack -3e Rose and Neville Carlsen. Miss Eileen Brennan was the accompanist. A successful concert in aid of St. Michael's Anglican Church, Henderson, was given by a party of Auckland artists in the Henderson Town Hall on Tuesday evening. Among those who contributed items were: Misses D. Moore, S. Stacpoole, B. Barker, P. Morgan, E. Thomas, A. Wilson, R. McLea.y, and C. Morgan, and Messrs. R. Morgan, W. Russell-Wood, C. Hoffman, and F. Sutherland. Miss Dodd and' Mr. Morgan were the accompanists. A very enjoyable evening was spent by the patients of one of the hospital wards at a concert given by Mrs. Raeburn and Mr. A. Hamblin last evening. Those taking part were Mrs. B. Clark, Mrs. Robertshaw, Mrs. Fitzpatrick, Misses M. Higgins, M. McCarthy, Vida Smith, Rona Smith, Angie Pell, Mr. Fitzpatrick, Handini (entertainer), Mr. C. Valentine (ventriloquist), and Mrs. Dunn (accompanist).
