THE STONE-THROWERS.

Hazlett Street, Eden Terrace, where I reside, is suffering from an epidemic.of stonethrowing, and it is hardly safe to venture out at certain times. A pane of glase smashed in my verandah on Saturday made the fourth in as many months. We may not be able to immediately reform the youngsters who are responsible, but the City Council could abate the nuisance if it did something to clean up the street. At present it is in a disgraceful state. A VICTIM.
