DISPOSAL OF TRUST FUND

COURT RESERVES DECISION.

WELLINGTON, Monday.

The hearing was resumed in the Court of Appeal to-day in the case in which New Zealand Redwood Forests, Ltd., appealed against the judgment delivered by Mr. Juetice Smith last December in the action in which the (Company was defendant and the New Zealand Insurance Company, Ltd., was plaintiff.

The action concerned the disposal of trust funds totalling £42,000, which the Court decided should continue to be held by the plaintiff company under the terms of the trust deed. From this and other portions of the judgment New Zealand Redwood Forests, Ltd., is appealing, on the grounds that they are wrong both in law and fact. Decision was reserved.
