BROWN.— March S, at the Auckland Hospital (suddenly), John Brown, dearly beloved father of Airs. Naysmith, Mrs. Waugh, Mrs. Warwick, Mrs. Vidler, Mrs. White, Bert and William Brown. Sadly missed.

CALLENDER. —On March 24, 1931, at her residence, 52, Great South Road, Remuera, Sarah (Lallie), dearly beloved widow of the late William Callender. Private interment on Thursday.

COOPER. —On March 24, at the Auckland Hospital, Peter Fraser, dearly beloved father of Jenney and Fraser Cooper, and husband of Helen Cooper. Funeral leaves residence of Mrs. Morrison, 23, Dean Street, Arch Hill, 2 p.m. Wednesday.

James Charles, eldest son of the late Charles and Catherine Dromgool, of Tuakau; dearly beloved husband of Edith Lucy Dromgool and dear father of Nellie, Laura. Patty, Winifred, Audrey, Fay, Hilda and Jim Dromgool; in his fifty-fourth year. Requieseat in Pace. Requiem Mass will be celebrated Jit the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ellerslie, at 7 a.m. to-morrow (Wednesday). Funeral leaving the Church at 2.30 p.m. for Otahuhu Catholic Cemetery. HAMILTON.—On March 20, 1931, at his parents' residence (suddenly), Robert, third son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hamilton, Hikurangi, aged 38 years. SROTOMBE —On March 23, 1931, at S Zetland Vera, beloved daughter, of Maude Staite; aged 37 years. Private interment.

SULLIVAN.—On March 23. at Auckland, after a long and painful illness, William Mason (Billy), dearly beloved only son of Thomas and the late Nellie Sullivan, and dearly loved brother of Amy, Ivy, and Daisy, and dearly beloved friend of Tsa • a"ed 26 years. His end was Peace . " Funeral will leave C. Little and Sons? Hobson St., at 2 p.m. to-morrow (Wednesday) for Waikumete. Private interment.
