LONDON WOOL SALES,

PRICES FULLY MAINTAINED.

(Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, March 23. At the wool sales 10,778 bales were offered, including 3093 from New. Zealand. Withdrawals were approximately 5 per cent. There was a large offering of greasy Merinos, principally super good style, a moderate catalogue of medium ecoureds and a fair lot of all New Zealand sorts. There was strong competition in all sections, and prices were fully maintained. New Zealand greasy crossbred, Mokopeka, 10V£d to lOd. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the following cablegram from their London house, dated 23rd instant: — Wool Sales.—The sales continue active. Lately reported rates fully maintained. The sales close on March 31. We will eell on March 30.
