RATING SYSTEM.
OTAHUHU POLL TO-MORROW.
A poll on the question of reverting to the system of rating on the capital value will be held at Otahuhu to-mor-row. Since 1915 rating on unimproved value has been in force in the Otahuhu borough. Four polls have been held in the Auckland district recently on the same question, and all except one have favoured a return to the previous system. The Glen Eden, Mount Albert and Papatoetoe ratepayers favoured the proposal io revert to rating .on the capital value, but the New Lynn ratepavers rejected it. A poll will be held on the question in Mount Roskill on Saturday.
