REMUERA SUfGUBS TITLE.

STEDMAN DEFEATS BARTLEET.

The final of the Remuera Lawn Tennis Club's championship was played during the week-end. A. C. Stedman,, Dominion singles champion, secured the title by a brilliant win over E. L. Bartleet in a spectacular final game, which was characterised by hard driving and sternly-con-tested rallies. So keen was the struggle that Bartleet was forced to retire at the fifth set owing to an attack of cramp.
