BOXING TO-NIGHT.
N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIPS BOUT.
The fight for the light-weight championship of New Zealand between Harry Johns (holder) and Teinmy Donovan, feather-weight champion of the Dominion (challenger) will take place at the Town Hall to-night. Donovan, who arrived yesterday, is in the pink of condition, and is confident that he can defeat the youthful Auckland champion. Johns lias completed his training, and is confident that he can successfully defend his title. Public interest in the fight has steadily grown during the past week, and it appears that there will be a large house to see the fight. The difference in the styles and build of the two men, as well as the other questions concerning the abilities of the pair, have been fully discussed, and partisans are about evenlydivided. The match will not bo broadcast.
