INTERCOLONIAL TRADE.
I have been watching the efforts of the secretary of the Seamen's Union t-o try to evade the issue,t i.e., is this country to be ruled by the New Zealand Government or by the Seamen's and Waterside Workers' Unions? The agreements with the Waterside Workers' Union provide that they shall load and discharge cargoes. They propose breaking their agreements with shipping interests, but insist upon the other side maintaining theirs. Let jlr. Anderson and his associates, the watersiders, answer the questions which they so desire to evade. ONLOOKER.
