TRADE IN CANADA.
Difficulties in Way of New Zealand Agreement. DUTY ON DAIRY PRODUCE. OTTAWA, March 6. The trade treaty between Canada and Australia will bo published when it is introduced simultaneously into the two Parliaments. It is learned that there are to be new negotiations with New Zealand for a specific agreement. The Canadian Government, however, faces considerable difficulty in promoting mutual trade with New Zealand when tho main produet of that Dominion. has to be the subject of a high, if not a prohibitive* duty.
