BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS.
HAMILTON FLOWER SHOW. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. Beautiful seasonal blooms, free from blemishes, were exhibited at the Hamilton Horticultural Society's show, held yesterday. The entries were good and the quality o£ the blooms was excellent. The fixture proved very successful. A number of cage birds were exhibited by members of the Hamilton Avicultural Society. Awards in- the dahlia section were as follow :— Champion; Dahlias.—Decorative: H. M. Hammond. Garden decorative: H. M. Hammond. Paeony: A. W. Ward. Hybrid cactus: H. M. Hammond. Giant, decorative, 12 varieties: Mrs. O'Sullivan. Six varieties: Mrs. O'Sullivan 1, Mr. Latimer 2, Mrs. H. M. Hammond 3. Three varieties: Mrs. Hammond 1. Mrs. O'Sullivan 2, Mr. Latimer 3. Garden decorative, four varieties : Mrs. Hammond 1, Mrs. O'Sullivan 2. Cactus: A. W. Ward 1, Mr. Latimer 2. Paeony, three varieties: Miss S. Tudhope 1, Mrs. S. R. Cox 2. Six blooms, distinct types: Mrs. Hammond. 1
