Score by West Indies and Australian Collapse. "SPOT" ON THE WICKET. (United P.A.—Electric Telegraph—Copyright) SYDNEY, March 1. The continuation of the Test cricket match Australia v. West Indies was delayed until 2.15 p.m. yesterday, owing to rain, whet, the wicket was soft and the light dull. At 3.30 p.m. the West Indies declared when their score was 350 for six wickets. The home team then lost five wickets for 89 runs.

When Martin and Grant resumed batting for the West Indies, by careful play they carried the score to 332 when a nail hit Giant's hand and McCabe held it.

The crc\« .i, which had increased from 4000 to 15,000, saw an exciting collapse, Sealy, Constantino and Bartleet going for nine runs. Barrow joined Martin, who batted throughout. The pair opened out, and when Martin hit a ball which was dropped in a scramble by three too eager fieldsmen they ran two and brought up 3.50. Grant then declared, in order to put Australia in on a troublesome wicket. The innings had lasted 347 minutes.

Australia was early in trouble, the bowlers profiting by Ironmonger's discovery of a patch on which the ball rose dangerously. '

Ponsford's dismissal heartened the visitors, but Bradman's association with his captain brought the score along well. llotii were lucky to he let off. Bradman hit out merrily until the crowd was thrilled by a smart catch which Francis took. Woodfull scored slowly, but doggedly.
