MUSICAL SOCIETY.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE, Friday. At the annual-meeting of the Pukckolie Musical Society last evening the following officers wero elected:—Patron, Mr. F. Munro; president, Mr. J. Roulston, sen.; vice-president, Mr. E. G. Foster; secretary, Mr. S. Hulme; treasurer, Mr. J. Hooper; committee, Mesdames J. Sparks, W. Grandison and K. Pike and Messrs. A. Patterson, J. McPherson, May; pianiste, Miss M. Pulman; stage manager, Mr. H. T. Twiss; auditor, Mr. 'F. A. Hosldng; hon solicitor, Mr. W. Grandison. , The financial statement revealed a credit balance of £40. The committee was asked to select a suitable operetta or other work for presentation by the society in the coming season.
