Allum) said intone of the' difficulties that was. being - under the scheme was the in the days of work to be provided' single,and married men. -It would be of considerable assistance to the board if. a scheme could be -devised - thereby -men were a longer stretch of work. ' • "We are If there is any other work that can be done, and the moment we succced Ave will be pleased > to take men on," said the manager, Mr. A. E. Ford.
