TRANS-PACIFIC RECORD.
VOYAGE JUST OVER 3 DAYS,
VANCOUVER, February 22. A message from Victoria, British Columbia, says the Canadian Pacific Company's Empress of Japan completed a new trans-Pacific record from Yokohama to Victoria yesterday. She covered the distance in eight days three hours 12 minutes, clipping three hours 15 minutes off her maiden voyage record in August.
