INDICTABLE CHARGES.
TWO MEN 'IN COURT,
Two indictable cases were heard by Mr. W. H. Woodward, S.M., in the Police Court this morning. Allan George Gray, a labourer, aged 21, pleaded guilty to charges of attempt-' ing to break and enter the shop of W. R. Goudie, 317, Sandringliam Road, with intent to commit a crime; breaking and entering tlie sliop of Winifred Nieholls at Walton and stealing tobacco, cigarettes, confectionery, and money, totalling £10 1/11; and attempting to break and enter the premises of the Auckland Meat Company at Sandringliam. He was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. William James Hillgrove, a traveller, aged 42, was charged with obtaining from E. C. Johnston £5 5/ by a false representation. He was also charged with obtaining from A. E. Watkins £2 17/ by a false representation. Accused pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court—for trial.;: Ba3^fr ; £lSChJwas£remywcd."
