Mr. Alex Nelson stood for many domestic persecutions, but, when his wife bought a shaggy dog and named it after him, he rose in righteous anger. "He was the ugliest dog I ever saw," lie told the judge. "She would call him 'Alex, Alex,' and I would answer, 'What V She would say, 'I didn't mean you. I was calling the other animal.' " Mr. Nelson got his divorce.
