Settlement of Cotton Dispute
At Home.
BETTER RELATIONS HOPED FOR
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, February IG. The settlement of the cotton trade dispute by tlie withdrawal on Saturday by the employers of . their lock-out notices and their discontinuance of the more looms experiment at Burnley has caused relief. The weavers have ended the Burnley strike and work will be resumed in all the mills on Monday. The hope is held that peace in the industry will be used to establish better relations between the employers and the operatives. The employers, in their statement, said they were prepared to discuss with the operatives the technical reorganisation of the industry when the proper atmosphere returned. They desired to see good feeling in the, industry and had every confidence , that the operatives would respond.
