DIVIDEND PAYMENTS.

THE EXCHANGE DIFFICULTY,

An Auckland resident who holds shares in the Commercial Banking Company of Sydney, received his dividend, and with it is a circular from the manager explaining that: "Leading counsel have advised that in present circumstances the bank can only pay dividends in New Zealand at the present current rates of exchange, and this has been adopted with regret."
