GIVAN GANESH AGAIN. ARGUMENT WITH SEAMAN. "The dark-skinned gentleman is a pest in the city," said Detective Sergeant Kelly in the Police Court this morning when Givan Ganesh, an Indian, aged' 30, and Leslie Murray, a ccauian, aged 27, appeared' before Mr. W. H. Woodward, ft.M. Both were charged with behaving in a disorderly manner in Hobson Street yesterday, and both pleaded guilty. "About 3.30 yesterday afternoon both these men were seen exchanging blows," said Mr. Kelly. "Murray had struck Ganesh, and was standing over him. Both men have lists." Mr. K. C. Aekins, who appeared for Murray, said accused had had a few drinks. It was merely a drunken argument. Murray had not been before the Court for a long time. Yesterday he had given Ganesh 2/, and an argument started because Ganesh wanted more money. Murray was fined £1, with the alternative of three days in gaol, and Ganesh was fined £3, in default seven days in Mount Eden.
