THAMES TROTTING CLUB.

The Thames Club's annual meeting -will be held on March 28, when a programme Of eight events will be deckled, including the Gold Cup Handicap of" 380sovs. ■• As advertised in this issue, nominations for all events close with the secretary at Thames, or with Messrs. CHANGE OF QUARTERS.

FROM AWAPUNI TO TRENTHAM. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") WELLINGTON, this day. The'section of Mr. W. Kemball's team controlled by W. Hawthorne, and up till now prepared at Awapuni, will enter new quarters at "Coalition Lodge," Trentham, on Monday next. The whole of Mr. Kemball's horses will then b»."trained at Trentham, where G-. Jones'has charge of the other section. Hawthorn's team comprises: Courageous, Miss Hastings, Hymgreat and the two-year : olds White Squall (Cape Horn—Martian Miss), Thermophlae (Cape Horn—Miss Wayward), Sailing (Cape Horn—Rose Martian), .Foghorn (Cape Horn—Bonrina), and La-Parleuse (Psychology—Table Talk). Hymgreat races in. Hawthorne's colours, and La ,Parleuse is trained by him for the Masterton sportsman Mr. R. Buick. The others are owned by Mr. Kemball. Courageous has been spelling for the past couple of months, but he will be put into work again immediately upon arrival at Trentham. The only two with near at hand engagements arc Hymgreat and La Parleuse, who will .race at Woodvjlle the week after next, but most of the others will be racing during : the autumn.
