PRISONER REMANDED.

FARM LABOURER CHARGED. A farm labourer and manager, Henry Roydon Moore, alias Davis, alias Allen, was charged in the Police Court this morning, that on March 29, 1930, at Paljnersto'n North, with intent to defraud, he obtained £12 in money from Frederick Joseph Swindell by falsely representing that a cheque, drawn on the National Bank of New Zealand, was a good and valid order. On the application of Detective Sergeant Kelly, accused was remanded to appear on February 20, Bail was allowed accused in one surety of £150, and in his own bond for a like amount.
