UNREGISTERED PARTNERSHIPS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday.' In an appeal by R. Gregory against the decision of the Hawko's Bay District Racing Committee in disqualifying Jii" l for 12 months for wilfully failing to register a partnership with P. S. Hellyer over the horse Lady Spy, the judgment of the New Zealand Racing Conference states that the appeal was on a question of fact. Nothing had been brought before the appeal judges which, in their opinion,, justified then} ip the finding of the district committee, which bad the advautage of hearing witnesses g.ild. observing, their demeanour. Tlie appeal was therefore dismissed, and the order for the return of the stakes confirpied. - '
