STRANDED ENTON.

STOWAWAY'S BAD LUCK. SYDNEY, February 11. Thirty members of the crew of the British steamer Enton, which was stranded near Noumea, reached Sydney to-day, en route for England, where an inquiry will be held. The captain will remain on board until a surveyor arrives. The crew are -unanimous tnat no fire occurred prior to the stranding. It was stated that Patrick Sullivan, a member of the crew, was helping to launch a boat when a hawser inflicted a severe wound in his leg, from which he bled to death. / A stowaway was found on board the Enton after she had left Lyttelton. He proved to be Arthur Rowe, of New South Wales, who had tried unsuccessfully to obtain work in New Zealand. - It was decided that the, stowaway should return to his native soil. He had the bad luck to select a ship which is now abandoned many miles from his home.
