PALESTINE POLICY.
Cabinet and Zionist Leaders Exchange Views. . MacDONALD EXPLAINS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, February 11. Answering a Parliamentary question to-day regarding the British policy in Palestine, the Prime Minister, Mr. MacDonald, stated that a Cabinet committee had been exchanging views with Zionist leaders on the interpretation of certain passages in the Government's statement of policy issued in April last. It was proposed to embody the explanations given in the form of a letter to Dr. Weissmann, which would be published. / Asked by Commander Ken worthy (Lab., Hull) whether the Zionist leaders were now in agreement on the matter and whether they had been satisfied, the Prime Minister replied: "Tthink when'the letter is published it will be found that - that is so."
