FLUCTUATIONS IN SHARES. MARKETS ARE WEAK. There was a good inquiry in the banking and insurance sections at the first call this morning, but buyers limits were marked down, and no business resulted. North Auckland Farmers B preference shares were offered av, (/', bringing a buyer in at 4/. Auckland Gas were a shade firmer, with buyers at £1 2/8. Farmers' Trading shares, eased further, with sellers of the ordinaries at b/b, ana of the B preference at 10/15. War Bonds, iYs tax frees, were available at £95 15/. The Noon Call. Several sales were reported at the noon call after which bidding was resumed, with few important alterations. Mount Lyells showed firmness, with buyers up to 18/6.
