RAIN DELAYS WORK.

MAUNGANUI SAILS TO-MORROW.

Yesterday's wet weather interrupted cargo work, and several vessels are delayed. The Wairuna, which was to sail for Wellington yesterday afternoon, in continuation of her voyage from Los Angeles, will not get away until this afternoon, while the departure of the Huntingdon for N Wellington for final Homeward loading, lias "oeen postponed till to-morrow.

There are now three overseas passenger liners in port, the Maunganui, Tofua and Rangitiki. The Maunganui sails for Sydney to-morrow and the Tofua for the Islands on Saturday, but the Rangitiki will be loading at the Central wharf until the end of the month, when ehe is to be dispatched for Southampton and London.

Expected arrivals at Auckland tomorrow include the R.A.F. Nucula, from Sydney, and the steamer Vnden, from Los Angeles. TTo radio has yet been received from the Parracombe, which is due here about the end of the week with phosphate from Nauru.

NORFOLK SAILED. The Federal steamer Norfolk sailed yesterday afternoon for Gisborne, Napier, Waikokopu, Wellington and Lyttelton to hll up for London. MA RAMA FOR AUCKLAND. With passengers, mails and cargo for Auckland, the Union Company's steamer Marama is to leave Sydney to-morrow. She is due here next Tuesday. NUCULA TO-MORROW. The Admiralty tanker Nucula, from Los Angeles, via Sydney, is due nt Auckland at daybreak to-morrow, and will go to moorings in the stream. WARSHIPS' MOVEMENTS. 1-I.M.s. Diomede sailed for the Gulf this morning for exercise^. 11.M.5. Dunedin is to uhdock at 10 a.m. to-morrow. HUNTINGDON DELAYED. The departure of the Federal steamer ■Huntingdon for Wellington, to fill up for London and West of England ports, has been postponed to 3 p.m. to-morrow. PHOSPHATE FROM NAURU. An expected arrival at Auckland about the end of this week is the steamer Parracombe with phosphate from Nauru for discharge at the King's wharf to the agency of Henderson and Macfarlane, Ltd. PORT FAIRY LOADS. Leaving Napier to-morrow, the C. and D. Line motor ship Port Fairy is due at Auckland at daybreak next Sunday for final homeward loading. She is announced to sail for London on Jauary 31. SPIRILA .SAILED. The Shell Compay's tanker Spirila sailed this morning for Wellington to complete discharge of her cargo of bulk motor spirit from Balik Papan. TOFUA SAILS SATURDAY. The Union Company announces the stealer Tofua to sail from the Prince's wharf at 11 a.m. on Saturday with passengers, mails and cargo for Fiji, Tonga and Samoa. » MAUNGANUI FOR SYDNEY. On her return J;rip to- Sydney, the Union Company's passenger steamer Maunganui is to sail from the Queen's wharf at 3 p.m. to-morrow. She is due at Sydney next Tuesday. AORANGI DUE SUVA. En route from Vancouver to Sydney, the Union Company's R.M.m.s. Aorangi was due at Sura at 2 p.m., to-day, and is expected to clear there for Auckland this evening. She arrives here on Sunday evening, and sails for Sydney at 5 p.m. the following day. WAIRUNA DELAYED.

The wet weather delayed the Union Company's steamer -Wairuna in port overnight, and she is now to sail at 4 p.m. to-day for Wellington, to continue discharge ol her general cargo from the Pacific Coast. MONOWAI FOR 'FRISCO. The Union Company's R.M.s. Monowai leaves Sydney to-day, and is due at Wellington on Monday. She is to be dispatched from Wellington on Tuesday for Rarotonga, Papeete and San Francisco. THE GOLDEN CLOUD. In continuation of her voyage from Los Angeles, the O. and O. Line steamer Golden Cloud cleared Apia on Tuesday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. She is due here on January 2T to the agency of Henderson and Maefarlane, Ltd. MAHENO FOR WELLINGTON. For Wellington, via Bluff, Dunedin and Lyttelton, the Union Company's passenger steamer Maheno leaves Melbourne to-day. She is due at Bluff next Monday, and at Wellington the following Friday. UXDEN REPORTS. A further radio from the Swedish steamer Unden states that she expects to arrive at Auckland from Los Angeles at 10 p.m. to-morrow. She has general cargo from the Pacific Coast for discharge at Auckland, Wellington and Australian ports. (Spedding, Ltd., agents.) RANGITIKI IN PORT. The New Zealand Shipping Company's motor ship Rangitiki, which arrived at Auckland from Napier late last night, berthed this morning at the Central wharf for final homeward loading. UNION COMPANY'S STEAMERS. The Katoa was expected to clear Dunedin last night for Auckland, via Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Picton and Wellington. The JCanna leaves Westport for Auckland at 2 a.m. to-morrow. The Karepo, which 'has been delayed at Greymouth by flood in the river, was expected to clear there for Auckland this afternoon. The Kaimanawa sails at 6 p.m. to-day for Portland. Thence she is to go to Westport to load for Auckland. The Waimarino leaves Portland this afternoon, and is due at Auckland to-mor-row morning to fill up for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru. She is expected to leave t here to-morrow evening.
