Mrs. J. Trevithick and Miss Trevithick, who have been visiting Wellington, returned to Auckland on Saturday.
Mr.. G. A. Troup, Mayor of Wellington, and Mrs. Troup have returned to Wellington after a long stay at Craigwell House, -Ilelcnsville.
Mrs. Merson, of Epsom, .accompanied by her two daughters, left Auckland on Saturday for a tour of the Urewera Country.
Miss Thelma DufSn, Aitken Terrace, Glenmore, has returned from a holiday at Onetangi Beach, and leaves early this week for a motor tour in the North Island.
The guests at C'raigwell House, Helensville, include: Mr. and Mrs. C. Ratjen, (Pukekohe), Mrs. C. Owen ("Courtville"), Mrs. Rouse (Takapuna) and Miss Norrish (Auckland).
* • *' • • Mrs. L. J. Lewis, Madras Street, Christchurch, left on Monday evening for a holiday trip to Auckland. She intends staying in the North .Island lav about a month.
Miss Jane Winstone, of Wanganui, who has qualified for her air pilot's license, is the youngest woman pilot in New Zealand, 'having just passed her eighteenth birthday.
The marriage was celebrated recently at Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford, England, of Mr. C. E. Low and Miss Olive M. Kowe, both distinguished graduates of Canterbury College, Christchurch, New Zealand.
Mr. and Mrs. S. N. Ziman, of Cambridge, arrived in Auckland to-day, and are staying at the Grand Hotel to meet Mrs. Ziman's mother and sister, Mrs. A. Gaster and Miss Gaster, of London, who arrive on the Maunganui to-morrow. .#•■•■• * *
Mrs. W. Bell, late of Invercargijl, and Mrs. Rotherwell, of Auckland, have just returned from a trip to New Plymouth and Mount Egmont. Mrs. Bell, who has been the guest of Mrs. H. Bellam, of Glen Almond Road,. Mount Eden, leaves shortly for a trip to Australia and England.
