The.biggest single land purchase since the land for settlement activities of Sir John Mackenzie has been 'completed by the GloyeivniDent's acquisition of the Trontbeck .block, in the Bay of Plenty, known as the Galatea estate.
It is nine, miles long and four miles ■wide, and comprised 22.Q5.0 acres, which, when fenced,..grassed and roaded, will provide abo'nt 150 dairy..-'farms.
