LONDON, January 16,
The "Morning Post's" Paris correspondent writes: "It is understood here that a practically complete FrancoItalian naval agreement has been reached, only the question of submarines remaining unsettled.
"France undertakes to limit herself to seven 10,000-ton cruisers as compared to 12 demanded at the London Conference. Italy contents herself with six. though retaining theoretical light cruiser parity. The status quo will be maintained in capital ships and aeroplane carriers.
"France wants submarines aggregating 75,000 tons to Italy's 45,000 tons. The latter country is holding out for 52,700 tons."
