EXPERTS' FIRST REPORT

BRUSSELS, January 16,

A preliminary report of the experts who are investigating the cause of. 63 deaths from fog in the Meuse Valley last December, states that the fatalities were due to sulphuric anhydride fumes in the air.

The experts point out that the fog was due to an unusual combination, and that the circumstances may recur. The fumes were previously noted in factory smoke. •
