RAIN IN LATE AFTERNOON.

- Rain late yesterday afternoon again caused an interruption in the New Zealand Bowling Association's championship tournament. The second round of the rinks contest was played without interruption, but the -third was decided under uncomfortable conditions, and at the Rocky Nook, Epsom and Hillsboro' greens a postponement was made until to-day.
