TASMAN CONQUEROR.

CHRISTCHURCH VISIT.

APPEARANCE AS BROADSIDER

ENTHUSIASTIC RECEPTION.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)

CHRISTCHURCH, Monday

This evening Mr. Guy Menzies was driven round the race track at Monica Park during the broadsiding meeting and was accorded an enthusiastic reception. He shook many hands which were thrust at him through the fencing. He also rode four laps on a racing cycle, but did not go fast. He said it was some years since he had ridden and it would not look well for him to fall.
