ONLY TWO EARN FOUR FIGURES. With close upon half the season gone •and the two most important fixtures— the New Zealand Cup and Auckland Cup meetings—now entered up with events •of the past, it is interesting to delve into the results so far this season and ascertain just which horses are getting the money. Dealing with the Aucklandtrained horses only Mountain Dell has done best since August last. The black mare has been racing very consistently and to date has earned this season £1355. The only other locally-trained horse to touch over four figures is Jewel Pointer, whose earnings __ are £1000.
