KILMISTER'S RECORD DASH

A strong northerly gale, later accompanied by almost blinding rain, marred what was otherwise the best dirt track meeting this season at the Kilbirnie Stadium last night. The best performer of the night w;as W. Kilmister, who did not lose one race, and who established a new lap record. He did one lap In 10 seconds, thus clipping two seconds from the previous record, held by L. Van Praag, of Australia. The results were : — England-Australia v. Wellington Teams' Race.—Wellington, 30 points, 1; EnglandAustralia, 27 points, 2.. The teams.were: England-Australia, R. Frogley (England), I-I. Stevens (Australia), N. Evans (England) ; Wellington.
