TWO MEN DROWNED.
TRAGEDY IN N.S.W. RIVER.

SYDNEY, this day.
Andrew Houget, aged 24, and William Hayes, 25, were drowned in the Namoi River.
The former got into difficulties and his brother Alec and Hayes went to his assistance. They were unable, however, to assist their struggling companion. Alec Houget managed to scramble ashore but Hayes sank.
