While sitting on the edge of the cliff near Roedean School, Brighton, Norman Benjamin Ralph, 37, a clerk, of London, slipped and fell to the rocks 100 ft below. Although severely injured about the head, and with an arm broken, he remained semi-conscious, and was able to shout to a boy who was walking on the rocks, some distance away. The boy—Leslie Stephens, of Claremont Place, Brighton—went to the top of the cliff apd informed the police. Mr. Ralph was brought to the cliff top by the private roadway at Roedean School and was taken to the Royal Sussex Countv Hosnitnl.
