MATCH WITH TRANSVAAL. (Received 11 a.m.) JOHANNESBURG, December 16. Playing against Transvaal the llarylebone cricketers in their firsi innings made 317 (Hendren 75, Chapman 87, including five sixes and eight fours, Leyland 40). Vincent took six wickets for 45 runs. Transvaal in the first innings have lost one wicket for 55 runs. There were 10,000 spectators.
