COAST

A large general cargo was brought to Auckland from' West Coast of United Kingdom ports by the steamer Northumberland, which arrived this morning'. She is discharging at the Queen's wharf. The auxiliary motor schooner Taupata arrived early this afternoon from Norfolk Island and will be followed later in the day-by the Swedish motor ship TlSnaren from Pacific Coast ports.
