PONSONBY CRUISING CLUB.
RACE FOR Z CLASS.
The Ponsonby Cruising Club will hold the first of a series of three special for the Takapuna Z Class to-morrow afternoon, starting at 2 p.m. off the entrance to St. Mary's Bay boat harbour. This race ia to count points for. a 12ft 6in boat presented by Messrs. D. and N. Matheeon, of Ponsonby. Five points are allotted for a win, three for second, two for third, and one point to each other boat finishing. All competitors must be regular Takapuna Z cla«s boats, and crews must be under 19 years of age. It is the intention to. hold the three race? before Christmas, to enable the winning crew to have the benefit of the prize boat during the holidays. Post entries will be received for this race.
