Cosgrave in the first round. L. Dwyer knocked out F. . Houghton in the second round. Featherweight: T. Hamblyn drew with G. Hodkinson. Catch-weight: A. Howie drew with S. Bignall; F. Cole beat P. Steers on points. Light-weight: H. Hughes beat H. Preston on points. Heavyweight : - G. Fraer, beat J. Cossill on points.
