SPEEDWAY RIDER'S DEATH.
DUE TO ERROR OF JUDGMENT. NO EVIDENCE OF TRACK FAULT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCII, this day. The inquest into the death of George Matthew Vict,or Chambers, the speedwayrider who was fatally injured on the opening night of the season at Monica Park, Avas concluded to-day. The coroner's verdict stated that the cause of death was laceration of the brain and fracture of the skull, sustained through colliding with a fence. The accident appeared to be due to an error of judgment 011 the part of Chambers in negotiating a bend on the track. There Avas no evidence of want of equipment or pf a fault in the track itself.
