THE GROCER WAS RIGHT.
A young doctor in a country district of Worcestershire wae called one »S M Jf the village grocer to hie first case. The patient wae the grocer's eon, who was lying on the bed in mnch pain. The young medico threw out lus chest and said: "This should cause you no alarm. It is nothing but a eruetified exegesis antispasmodically emanating from the physical refrigerator, producing a prolific source of irritability in the perecranial epidermis." The grocer looked at him and replied: "Just what I eaid, but hie mother thought it was stomach ache."
