A suggestion by the chairman that the selectors should choose Mr. N. °- Snedden, the manager, as twelfth man for the southern tour in order to save the expense of taking an extra man did not meet with the approval of the majority of members, it being considered by these that Mr. Snedden's duties would be onerous enough as manager only. Mr. Snedden was congratulated upon'his appointment as a New Zealand selector. A donation of £50 toward the coach fund was received from the New Zealand Br eweriee, Ltd. It was decided to send a letter of thanks 'to the donors. Reporting for the junior management committee, Mr. D. V. Moore said that several cases of misconduct on the field of play had been brought to the committee's notice. The committee had resolved to circularise clubs requesting that a more stringent supervision be maintained over the lower grade teams.
